Some important deciding factors to consider:

How Do You Use An Enema?
Choose a safe enema solution. If you have the time, buy a saline solution from the pharmacy (ask the Pharmacist for an enema saline solution). The cautionary note with tap water is that it can upset the delicate electrolyte balance in your body (if used too often). Do not use soap, body wash, cosmetic products or anything containing chemicals in your solution. Use lukewarm or cool water to flush your rectum. Do not use warm or hot water as it can burn your intentinal lining.
Sanatize your enema kit/ hose before using. You can boil it or use a Sex Toy Cleaner.
Use lube and go slow! Lube up the nozzle before inserting it. Use a water based lube and insert slowly!
